Saudi Shura Council delegation visits Georgia

A delegation from of the Saudi Shura Council started an official visit to the Republic of Georgia under the chairmanship of Dr. Fayez Al-Shihri, and the membership of Dr. Saleh Al-Khathlan, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghudian, Engineer Farah Al-Zahrani and Dr. Hani Khashoggi.

The delegation has visited the parliament and met with a number of its members who emphasized the importance of Georgian-Saudi relations, commending the roles of the Georgian parliament and the Saudi Shura Council in enhancing bilateral and parliamentary relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The Shura Council delegation also held two separate meetings with Georgian-Saudi Friendship Committee and the Economic Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament. During the meetings, they reviewed the ways of enhancing relations between the two countries in economic, trade and investment fields.
