Chairman of the Shura Council confirms positions of Kingdom in support of Sudan

Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirms its steadfast stand and its support for the brotherly Republic of Sudan in order to overcome its circumstances and challenges and calls for lifting the name of Sudan from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

In his speech distributed during a hearing held by the Arab Parliament today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo, Chairman of the Shura Council said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the crown prince, are keen to support their brothers and friends. He stated that the kingdom has provided more than 23 billion riyals as loans for development projects in Sudan.
