King of Jordan receives Speaker of Shura Council

King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan here on Sunday received Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shaikh and heads of Arab parliaments participating in the 29th session of the Arab Parliamentary Union.

During the meeting, King Abdullah stressed the importance of the role played by the Arab Parliamentary Union in seeking to unify the Arab positions towards the regional challenges, stressing the need for closer Arab cooperation in all fields.
